VampDrive: files and storage
Signing in
VampDrive uses the same Vampelium account as everything else. If sign-in is the problem, read You cannot sign in first — it is almost always the account rather than the product.
A file will not upload
- Check the size against the limit shown in VampDrive itself. A file over the limit is refused rather than truncated, so nothing half-uploaded is stored.
- A connection that drops partway leaves nothing behind; start the upload again rather than looking for a resume control, because there is not one.
A file is missing
Deleted files and the order things happen in matter here, so tell us when you last saw it and what you did in between. "It was there on Tuesday and I tidied some folders on Wednesday" is far more useful than "a file is gone".
What to include in a ticket
The filename, roughly when you uploaded it, and what you see now. A screenshot helps — you can attach up to five files to a ticket, and images have their location data stripped before they are stored.
